My Fellow Academy “Intermediate-level Manga Translation” VOD course will be held starting November 13. (Fellow Academy is a professional translation school in Tokyo.) This 90-minute recorded lecture discusses practical techniques such as issues particular to JtoE manga translation and creating new English sound effects. Students will also get hands-on experience by translating a number of pages from a tankobon.
This is an online course, so you can enroll even if you live outside Japan. You can also watch the lecture as many times as you want until December 4. The application deadline is November 6.
